This system works on liquid-liquid coalescing. The system comes with low power consumption equipment with the least maintenance having multiple advantages over its alternate technology of centrifugal oil purification.

Description:
Fuels are prone to heavy water & mechanical contamination due to multistage handling at the depots and logistics. During transportation, vents or sub-standard breathers installed at the tanks cannot prevent the ingression of particles and moisture into the fuel or diesel which degrades the fuel quality. Minimac comes with this unique technology which is capable of removing heavy water contamination & solid contamination by a single system.

The equipment works on two principles, one is “molecules agglomerate (come together) to form a larger whole “and the second is “two liquid separate due to different densities”. The system is capable of removing water contamination from more than 5% to less than 100 ppm (0.01%) in a short time. The system is equipped with micron-level filters which can ensure solid contamination removal up to NAS 5 (ISO 15/12).
